Hormel Foods’ Spirit of Excellence award honors suppliers for being proactive in meeting or surpassing specific requirements established by Hormel’s supplier quality management committee. Selection criteria included delivery performance, product quality, customer service, plant quality audits and administration. Hormel Foods’ purchasing, provisions, procurement, logistics and engineering departments nominated suppliers throughout the year.
