Core Tip: The Dr Pepper Snapple Group has introduced Snapple brand lightly sweetened teas, which feature sugar as the sweetener. The new beverage is available in two flavors: peach passionfruit and cherry pomegranate.
“Consumers told us they wanted a light tasting, all-natural tea that wasn’t too sweet, and we listened,” said Regan Ebert, vice-president of brand marketing for Snapple.

Each 16-oz serving has 80 calories, according to the company. The beverage is available in three packaging formats, individual 16-oz bottles that have a suggested retail price of $1.39; six-packs that retail for $5.99; and the peach passionfruit flavor is available in 64-oz bottles.
