Natural cheese stocks on June 30 were 1,049,321,000 lbs, up 2% from May but down slightly from 1,051,424,000 lbs in June 2011. Butter stocks totaled 242,689,000 lbs, down 7% from May but up 28% from June 2011.
Frozen red meat supplies were 1,088,543,000 lbs, down 6% from May but up 15% from June 2011.
Frozen pork stocks totaled 591,685,000 lbs, down 7% from May 2012 but up 20% from June 2011. Frozen pork belly stocks were 49,063,000 lbs, down 25% from May but up 1% from June 2011. Beef stocks in freezers totaled 470,832,000 lbs, down 5% from May but up 9% from a year earlier.
Total frozen egg stocks on June 30 were 40,518,000 lbs, up 17% from May and up 20% from June 2011. Stocks of egg whites were 4,524,000 lbs, up 45% from May and up 13% from June 2011. Frozen egg yolk stocks were 2,265,000 lbs, down 14% from May and down 27% from June 2011. Whole and mixed egg stocks were 11,838,000 lbs, up 15% from May and up 71% from June 2011. Unclassified egg stocks were 21,891,000 lbs, up 19% from May and up 11% from June 2011.
Stocks of frozen orange juice concentrate on June 30, 2012, were 956,645,000 lbs, down 10% from May but up 20% from June 2011. Stocks of all types of frozen fruit on June 30 were 889,500,000 lbs, up 7% from May and up 13% from June 2011.
Stocks of frozen french fries were 901,754,000 lbs, up 8% from May and up 4% from June 2011. Total vegetable stocks (excluding potatoes) on June 30 were 1,567,934,000 lbs, up 3% from May and up 6% from June 2011, the U.S.D.A. said.
