There is exclusive food safety training on October 30, 2012 and interactive workshop on November 2, 2012. The conference is being organised by Fi Conference.
The first day of the conference will cover the topics like, FSSAI keynote on quality; traceability; food safety across the value chain; pesticide and heavy metal analysis; veterinary drug residue analysis; microbiological testing, and outsourcing to analytical labs.
The second day of conference will have topics like NABL keynote; validation of test methods; calibration of instruments; latest technologies: NMR and DNA-based testing; instrumentation presentation and training, GCMS-MS, LCMS-MS, and ICPMS.
Topics to be covered in food safety training are global food safety initiative (SQF, BRC, FSSC 22000); HACCP: verification and validation; food safety fundamentals; internal auditing; supplier assurance; food defence; traceability; food safety manager certification; organic certification; seafood quality, and international case studies.
