Core Tip: International fast food chain McDonald's is set to introduce two lamb products at its restaurants in New Zealand.
The new products include Serious Lamb Burger and Serious Lamb Taster wrap.

Serious Lamb Burger features a lamb pattie with lamb, tomato, beetroot, aioli, ketchup, onion and a freshly cracked egg, while Lamb Snack Wrap features half patty of lamb, lettuce and aioli, in a soft tortilla wrap.

McDonald's managing director Patrick Wilson said the product was going to impress the consumers, who liked to eat lamb, but usually could not afford it.

"McDonald's is really excited to be adding this option to our menu and making fantastic lamb products available at an affordable price for our customers," he added.

The new menu items will be available at 160 McDonald's restaurants nationwide. The company plans to launch more new lamb products in the future, reported Msn.co.nz.

To develop the new lamb products, McDonald's has partnered with Beef + Lamb New Zealand - the industry organisation representing New Zealand's sheep and beef farmers.
