Core Tip: Yoplait, a General Mills, Inc. business unit, has introduced Yoplait Smoothie kits featuring frozen fruit, fruit juice and Greek yogurt.
When made, the products have 10 grams of protein and are sweetened with stevia. The new products are available in two varieties, mixed berry and strawberry banana.

“For consumers trying to get more protein in their diets, it’s not always easy to find an on-the-go protein breakfast item or snack that tastes great,” said Maija Aittola, Yoplait Smoothie marketing manager. “Not only are Yoplait Smoothies made with Greek yogurt easy to make and take, but each smoothie provides 10 grams of protein when prepared with milk and are sweetened with all natural stevia.”

The new products provide 35% of the daily value of vitamin C and 25% of the daily value of calcium, according to General Mills. The products are available nationwide and have a suggested retail price of $2.99.
