Aditya Park, Hyderabad, will be organising "Kerala Served on a Platter" a special food festival to celebrate Onam (the harvest festival) from Friday till September 2, 2012, at Promenade the multicuisine restaurant.
The festival will offer an array of authentic Onam dishes. Bijimon, a chef from Kottayam, has designed a menu of vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies from across Kerala such as avail, ulli theeyal, kadala kari, padavalanga thoran, kumbalanga kalan, matanga erissery, chena mezhukkupuratti, kuthari chor, meen achar, khozi achar pathiri, kappa upperi, sarkara upperi and variety of karimeen porichathu, chemeen moilee, kozhi varutharacha curry, mutton Ishtu, malabar biriyani and desserts like chakka padhamam, palad payasam, and nei halwa. These are complemented with appam, cherata puttu, and malabar parotta.
