Illegal diet pills can cause cardiac arrest

Food Administration warns against website www.usabutikken.com who illegally marketing slimming pills with substance 1.3-dimethylamylamin, also known as DMAA, which can cause both heart attack and stroke.

Usabutikken.com hosted in the U.S., but Danish language and sells product Rezolution Thermogenic Diet Pill containing DMAA, synefrin and caffeine. DMAA is considered dangerous and is illegal in Denmark.
Food Administration has knowledge of acute severe effects like stroke and heart problems. Recently, a young Swedish man has been rescued after a 15-minute cardiac arrest.

Possibly amplifier caffeine effect of 1,3-dimethylamylamin. Furthermore, the combination of substances caffeine and synefrin cause serious cardiovascular problems.

Food Administration has previously warned consumers against the website and several of the products that are advertised on the site. Food Administration encourages anyone who purchased the items to discard them.

The Danish authorities have informed the U.S. authorities.
