General Mills has issued a voluntary recall on a single day’s production of Almond Nature Valley Sweet & Salty Nut Granola Bars as it may contain unlisted allergens.

“Product produced on this date may have been packaged incorrectly, and may contain allergens not listed on the box’s ingredient label, specifically peanuts,” it said.

A production error meant that its peanut version was put into the almond bar’s packaging.

It has recalled boxes with a Better if Used By date of ‘26FEB2013’.
