Belu Water has joined British Bottled Water Producers, the association which represents British-sourced bottled waters.
The company sells water in the UK, via both on-trade and retail outlets. Belu is said to be the first bottled water to be given Approved Supplier status by the Sustainable Restaurant Association in the country.
Belu is sourced from boreholes in Cambridgeshire, from which RPET packaged waters are sourced; and Shropshire, where glass bottles are currently filled.
Every year UK-based Belu donates all of its profits, with a guaranteed minimum of £100,000, to an independent organization WaterAid.
British Bottled Water Producers founder and director Jo Jacobius said: "The money raised by Belu is enough to help WaterAid transform the lives of over 13,000 people with access to clean water, improved sanitation and hygiene."
