Polska Foods Pierogi, a US-based provider of Polish pierogi made with organic ingredients, has unveiled new product labels.
The new labels showcase the organic certification from Oregon Tilth, a range of cooking methods, and health information.
The products bearing new labels will be available at Whole Foods stores and other grocery stores across the West Coast region.
These labels have been designed to address the increasing demand for consumer health information on the packaged food products, reported the Packing Digest.
Polska Foods founder and product designer Tomek Piszczek said that the new labels will contain the information about the health of their products and will also mention the amount of fiber and whole grains found in the products.
Currently, the company sells four pierogi flavors, - Potato & Farmer's Cheese pierogi, Mushroom & Cabbage vegan pierogi, and Spinach & Feta pierogi. The products are distributed in Whole Foods Markets and specialty grocery stores throughout San Francisco.
