Royal GMF-Gouda, Waddinxveen, the Netherlands, has a new owner: the Andritz Group, Graz, Austria. The two companies signed a contract Oct. 24.
Andritz is a global supplier of customized plants, processt echnologies, and services for the hydropower, pulp and paper, metals, and other specialized industries (solid/liquid separation, feed and biofuel), operating over 180 production sites, service, and sales companies throughout the world.
Royal GMF-Gouda, a 103-year-old family business, can now team up with Andritz, which has a 160-year history, to achieve further growth together in the strategic sectors in the food, chemical and environmental industries. The company's integration into the international Andritz sales network will open up opportunities, both geographically and in terms of customers, as well as opportunities to further strengthen the business relationship with its existing customers and business partners.
