Konik’s Tail, a UK headquartered vodka brand that is made in Poland, is all set to expand in its country of origin.
The premium vodka is blended from Spelt Grain, Rye and Winter wheat. Following its successful run in the UK on- and off-trade markets, especially in Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh, the brand will now be launched in the Poland.
Unveiled in London in 2010, the brand is currently carried by stores like Harvey Nichols, Harrods and Selfridges, where 90% of its 4,000 nine liter cases are sold, reported Drinks International.
Vodka entrepreneur and brand owner Pleurat Shabani told the website that the vodka was successful because of flavors brought by single distillation of different grains in its production.
"In 99% of cases, bartenders are using Konik's Tail in a Martini - because they don't want to lose the flavour of the vodka," he added.
In Poland, the brand will be stocked by 25 on-trade shops with plans to soon launch the vodka in Canada and the US.
