Morrison Bowmore Distillers and London-based private members club - Caledonian Club - have partnered to open ‘The Bowmore Room.’
Just like the Caledonian Club that offers members with classical music evenings and club traditions, The Bowmore Room will host a range of events like 'sensory journey' to west coast of Scotland home on Islay, whiskey pairing events, 'A Taste of Islay' evenings, Burns Suppers, Caledonia Lectures and others for its members and guests.
Morrison Bowmore is known for producing perfectly-balanced single malt whiskey by using peat sourced from Islay and water from Laggan River before being matured in the legendary No 1 Vaults in Scotland.
Bowmore marketing manager Cara Laing said they are happy to show their Islay Island's taste at Caledonian Club.
"Islay is a tough place to get to so we hope The Bowmore Room will truly bring to life the essence of Islay as well as our award winning Single Malt," Laing added.
Caledonian Club chairman David Coughtrie said the partnership help them offer their members with wide variety of malts.
"The depth and variety of expressions from this respected distiller will be available in the Bar and in the Dining Room where we will serve the Bowmore 15 years old Darkest as a perfect accompaniment to our haggis," he added.
