US-based food franchisee Yum Brands is looking to improve offerings in India by further localizing its menu.
The chain that was launched in 2010 as a franchisee of KFC and Pizza Hut resturants is now keen on leveraging the growth in the quick-service market in the country by localizing 60% of its offerings, reported The Economic Times.
Yum also plans to close 2012 with a 600-outlet strong KFC chain to push its revenues higher in 2013.
Commenting on the aggressive plans Yum Restaurants India president Niren Chaudhary stated that the chain was in concept mode for past two years and now the company is set to unveil new plans for its Taco menu.
The company has plans to generate revenues of over a billion dollars in the next three years from the Indian market.
