US-based Jamba Juice has unveiled Jamba Kids Meals, its first kids-focused offering. The product was designed in collaboration with the Jamba Healthy Living Council, and is in line with the US Department of Agriculture's MyPlate dietary guidelines.
According to the company, the Jamba Kids Meals have the highest whole fruit servings compared to any quick service restaurant kids meal.
Each meal comprises two and one-half servings of fruits and/or vegetables, whole grains, and offers a good source of protein. It also includes a 9.5oz. smoothie paired with a food, the company added.
The smoothies are made from fruit, vegetable and juice and have no added sugar. Berry Beet It! smoothie also contains vegetables.
Kids meal menu at Jamba Juice features four smoothies and two food options, which can be mixed and matched to make the Jamba Kids Meals. The menu includes Cheesy Stuffed Pretzel, Pizza Swirl with Turkey, Strawberries Gone Bananas Smoothie, Blueberry Strawberry Blast-off Smoothie, Popp'in Peach Mango Smoothie and Berry Beet It Smoothie.
Jamba Juice offers specialty beverage and food offerings, which include whole fruit smoothies, squeezed juices and juice blends, coffee and teas, oatmeal, breakfast wraps, bistro sandwiches and mini-wraps, California Flatbreads, frozen yogurt, and a variety of baked goods and snacks.
