It's fast food Friday and time to kick off the weekend.
From chicken nuggets and new offerings at Burger King to tortilla soup at Chick-Fil-A, fast-casual offerings are here for the taking.
Burger King Worldwide has rolled out its Chicken Nuggets and six additional limited-time menu items in restaurants nationwide including the Dana Point location in Ocean Ranch.
Bite-sized and shareable, the nuggets are made with premium white meat and feature tender, juicy chicken on the inside and a crispy tempura-style batter on the outside. Dipping sauces include six sauces – Honey Mustard, Ranch, Sweet and Sour, Buffalo, Barbecue or Zesty – Chicken Nuggets are offered in four-piece, six-piece or 10-piece servings (Suggested retail price starts at $1, $1.99 and $2.69). There is also a 20-piece for $4.29 starting on Jan. 7.
There are also are six limited-time-only menu offerings:
Avocado Swiss WHOPPER sandwich, Cheesy Tots, Philly Original Chicken Sandwich, Italian Original Chicken Sandwich, Molten Fudge Bites, and Molten Fudge Sundae.

Chick-Fil-A has brought back its popular Southwestern, spice-infused Chicken Tortilla Soup. now through March 31.
Chick-fil-A’s Chicken Tortilla Soup is made with shredded boneless breast of chicken, corn, navy and black beans in a white creamy base with a blend of vegetables and a variety of spices.
Chicken Tortilla Soup is available in medium (8 oz.) and large (16 oz.) servings starting at $3.65 and $5.99. A medium serving contains 260 calories and six grams of fat.
Domino’s 12-day dollar giveaway
Customers who order the fan-favorite two medium two-topping pizzas for $5.99 each value offer – via digital ordering, including online, mobile browser and phone apps – will receive $5 in Domino’s Dollars to be used toward their next online order within 10 days of receipt. The Domino’s Dollars will arrive via email promo code.
Domino’s online ordering now makes up one-third of total orders in the U.S., says the company.
