Frozen food for watching the Super Bowl? A e-zine called The Daily Meal has come out with recommendations for couch potatoes.
"Luckily for us, there's a plethora of frozen fare that's fit for serving to a crowd," the zine's Francesca Borgognone posted Jan. 29. "The frozen food aisle is home to tons of snacks, dips, wings, and more that bring the same great taste but take a fraction of the time to make."
Borgognone said she compiled her list by scouring reader reviews on product sites and blogs as well as cornering the best-sellers.
"These party foods have been tested on a hungry crowd over a series of game day Sundays, so if they can stand out among cases of beer and a way-too-loud television broadcasting the games, you know they're winners," she wrote. The list includes:
