Spain-based packaging systems manufacturer and designer Ulma Packaging has unveiled new FR 305 horizontal flow pack wrapper (HFFS), which can used for packaging cakes, cookies, chocolates, confectionery and sweet, and also for produce packaging.
The company stated that the equipment makes a three sealing pillow pack and has the advantage of being an 'intermittent' model for the packaging of fruits and vegetables.
It adapts to products with variable size, without wasting wrapping film and also packages loose products without tray.
FR 305 substitutes the previous family of bottom film rotary jaw packaging machines. Featuring a cantilever design that makes cleaning and sanitizing easier, the wrapper also has better flexibility for the different format changeovers.
Ulma Packaging claims that the new machine meets the requirements of customers who want to pack irregular products or products that cannot be transported easily.
