All labels on future products will be corrected to list all allergens. The mislabeled products, all sold under the Buffalo Trace Distillery brand name, can be identified with the following names and are missing these allergens in the ingredients:

The recalled units were distributed to retail grocery stores, specialty stores, liquor stores, and online in the following states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MO, NC, NE, NJ, NV, NY, OK, PA, SD, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI, WV, and also Wasa, British Columbia, Canada and West Midlands, UK between January 2012 to January 2013. No other products are involved. No adverse reactions or illnesses have been reported to date from these products.
The Gift Shop at Buffalo Trace Distillery was notified by the manufacturer, after an inspection by the Kentucky Department of Public Health, that these products were distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of the allergens in the ingredient lists on the labels.
The company has received no reports to date of adverse reactions or illnesses due to the consumption of these products.
The Food and Drug Administration has been notified of this voluntary recall and the Gift Shop at Buffalo Trace Distillery has been working with them on this issue.
