Enoitalia, an Italy-based producer of fine wines, is to add a new Italian sparkling wine - Prosecco - under its Volga Italia brand.
Produced using an extended Charmat method, the Italian sparkling wine is balanced and offers citrusy fruit flavors. It is ideal drink for both wine aficionados and novice drinkers.
Made in the district of Veneto near Conegliano town in Italy, the Prosecco wine is imported from Italy by Florida-based Enovation Brands.
The company will be launching the Prosecco in a newly re-designed traditional bottle.
The new Italian sparkling wine will be available throughout the US from June 2013 at suggested retail price of $13.99.
Prosecco will join the Voga Italia brand portfolio that also includes Pinot Grigio, Merlot, Moscato, Sparkling and Baby Sparkling and Dolce Rosso.
