US-based fast food and ice cream retailer Dunkin' Brands has opened two Dunkin' Donuts restaurants and one Baskin-Robbins outlet at the newly renovated Dallas Love Field Airport.
A joint venture led by premier travel retailer Hudson Group will manage and operate the newly opened outlets.
The first Dunkin' Donuts opened in the pre-security meet and greet level, and the second opened in the post-security main entrance area. The Baskin-Robbins shop opened next to Gate 8.
With the new openings, Dunkin' Brands total store count has been increased to 94 in 34 airports across the country.
Dunkin' Brands development vice president Grant Benson said, "Airports continue to be a strong growth area for Dunkin' Brands, and Hudson Group has been a valued partner of ours since opening their first Dunkin' Donuts restaurant at the Philadelphia Airport in 2011."
Further, the retailer is looking open nine more outlets in airport locations in 2013.
Under the plan, over the next few months, Dunkin' Brands plans to open outlets at Great Wolf Lodge, Denver International Airport, Sheppard Air Force Base, New York City's Port Authority Bus Terminal, Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport Terminal E, Philadelphia International Airport Terminal A, among others.
Dunkin' Brands currently operates more than 10,400 Dunkin' Donuts restaurants and nearly 7,000 Baskin-Robbins restaurants.
Hudson Group is a wholly-owned subsidiary of international travel retailer Dufry AG of Basel, Switzerland.
