US-based Schwan’s Consumer Brands has reintroduced the Red Baron Classic Crust Mexican Style Pizza, in response to popular demand.
Classic Crust Mexican Style Pizza features a unique salsa sauce with hints of cilantro, Mexican-style sausage, a blend of mozzarella and yellow cheddar cheeses, tomatoes, green chilies, green onions, red peppers and tortilla chips, all atop the Red Baron Classic Crust.
Schwan's Consumer Brands president Bob Waldron said the company has brought back the consumer favorite Red Baron just in time for Cinco de Mayo celebrations.
Originally launched in 2000, the Classic Crust Mexican Style Pizza will hit grocers' freezers nationwide this month, and retail for $4.50.
In addition to the Classic Crust Mexican Style Pizza, Red Baron pizzas come in a variety of flavors, from Supreme to 4-Meat to Hawaiian Style.
Red Baron pizza and pasta products are part of the national brand portfolio of Schwan's Consumer Brands, the retail grocer subsidiary of The Schwan Food.
