US-based Anchor Packaging has launched a new 38oz. container to its Mega-Meal product line, which is suitable for packing appetizers, finger-foods, desserts, cut fruit, and other hot or cold products.

According to the company, the new container joins the 80oz. and 100oz. sizes as an alternative to an aluminum half-steam table pan. It can be recycled after multiple uses.

All three polypropylene containers feature a common clear, anti-fog, polypropylene lid. These containers are durable and are resistant to hot grease and oils, and are capable of withstanding temperatures up to 230°F when used under heat lamps or in the microwave.

Mega-Meal containers, which are dishwasher safe, have been designed for operator efficiency and their interlocking feature allows multiple packages to be stacked on display safely while in storage or during transport.

Anchor Packaging product portfolio includes packaging used for prepared ready-to-heat meals and take-out meals. The Roaster Series, Incredi-Bowls, Culinary Classics, Culinary Basics, MicroRaves, MicroRounds, Gourmet Classics, Microlite among others.
