ho needs a Big Mac when you can have a McPasta salad bowl? It may sound strange, but according to The Guardian, McDonald's Italy is rolling out pasta salad bowls in an effort to "Italianize." For just under five euro, customers can try the "pennette" pasta salad, which includes, "a balanced and skillful mix of tuna, tomatoes, peppers, capers and olives, seasoned with a pinch of oregano and salt." McDonald's teamed up with trusted 136-year-old pasta company Barilla for the new menu item. Grub Street reports that an Italian newspaper called the partnership a combination of, "the devil and holy water."
