Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) will feature a range of its high-quality ingredients in a variety of products, from functional foods and beverages to desserts, at the 2013 Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) Food Expo July 14-16 at McCormick Place South in Chicago.
The company's booth will provide attendees with samples that demonstrate how its ingredients can be used in foods and beverages that consumers enjoy every day. The samples include its Gluten-Free Pancakes with Blueberry Syrup, made with Harvest Pearl® sorghum flour mix and topped with blueberry syrup. The Tropical Particulate Bar is also included, containing healthy ingredients like Fibersol® LQ, Fibersol-2, navy bean powder and whole grain sorghum soy protein crisps, isoflavones, phytosterols and vitamin E.
ADM also will featured its protein and fiber boosting snack, Maple Bacon-Flavored Navy Bean Puff, containing VegeFull navy beans, as well as its Mini Egg Rolls with Sweet and Sour Sauce that were fried in a blend of high oleic soybean oil and NuSun® sunflower oil and served with a sweet and sour dipping sauce.
Beverage samples include its Citrus Cool, a 100% fruit juice blend with 7 grams of protein, and the ADM cocoa cafe will serve iced and hot mocha beverages featuring deZaan™ cocoa powders. For dessert, ADM will feature its Chocolate-filled Cupcakes containing a double dose of deZaan cocoa powders in the cupcake batter and creamy filling, while a blend of palm and canola oils provide a rich and moist texture.
