SPoT Coffee is applying for a building permit to develop a full café following the approval of the 'change of use' permit from the municipality of South Miami, Florida.
SPoT has already received funding from its licensee - Valshire - for its second licensed café in Florida State.
The company has completed the preliminary construction of SPoT Glens Falls in preparation for its leasehold improvements and build-out including finishes and murals, installation of fixtures, the coffee bar and the kitchen.
The new café will be opened in the fourth quarter of 2013.
SPoT also announced that it has installed a new 50lb coffee roaster in its previously renovated coffee roasting facility to enable the company's roast master to digitally monitor the coffee roasting process.
The company plans to roll out its roasted premium gourmet coffee beans to American Natural locations in the first week of July 2013.
For this, it will ship the appropriate equipment to American Natural C-Store locations.
The Canadian coffee chain is in talks with strategic investors to fund its corporate expansion plan for 2013.
