AVT, a US-based developer of automated retailing systems, has entered into an agreement with Neebo to install Marley Coffee Automated Stores at college campus bookstores across the US.
Neebo, the beneficial owner of Nebraska Book Company, currently owns more than 200 locations in the US.
At least 40 Marley Coffee kiosks will be placed before the next semester begins in August. The majority of other Neebo college bookstores will be outfitted with Marley Coffee kiosks shortly thereafter.
With this deal, Marley Coffee Stores operators and the book store owners will benefit from the on-screen advertising opportunities, which deliver an additional revenue stream.
Marley Coffee Stores sales and marketing vice president Joe Menichiello said that this deal will enable AVT and its partners across the US with an opportunity to benefit from the stores in college campuses.
"Additionally, Marley is an iconic brand - especially among the college age demographic, so we are very optimistic about the sales potential from these placements," Menichiello added.
"We have all the components in place for explosive growth."
