Marley Coffee has entered into a $2.5m deal with AVT, a US-based automated retailing systems, customized kiosks and micro-stores developer, to manufacture 300 machines for a San Diego distributor Jon Gerber.
Marley Coffee has also agreed to supply its beverages for the automated coffee machines.
AVT has recently introduced the second-generation Marley Coffee Automated Stores with large screen interactivity and media recently.
These are the first touch-screen automated cafés in the world to deliver freshly ground and brewed gourmet Marley coffee, espresso or cappuccino, in less than a minute.
Some of the Marley Automated Stores also will feature Marley accessories, cups and both ground and whole bean coffee for sale in a variety of blends.
AVT chairman and founder Shannon Illingworth said: "We were able to harness the power of that brand and move it into our automated retailing platforms, to open up the product to a whole new market sector."
Gerber said that he is looking further to launch Marley Automated Stores in San Diego market.
"San Diego is a city that loves gourmet coffee, and with the AVT designed systems, people can have a world-class cup, freshly brewed, and be on the go in a matter of moments," Gerber added.
