Drinks giant Diageo and Alfred Dunhill, a British luxury goods brand, have partnered to roll out JOHNNIE WALKER BLUE LABEL Limited Edition Collection under the luxury alcohol category.
Designed by Alfred Dunhill, the Limited Edition Collection includes three giftpacks: The Limited Edition Giftpack, Travel Retail Exclusive Giftpack and the Limited Edition Travellers' Trunk.
The Limited Edition Giftpack features a limited edition designed bottle with interior bearing a map showcasing both the brands' shared journey and exterior blending JOHNNIE WALKER BLUE LABEL's blue color packaging with Dunhill's Chassis design and gunmetal finish.
Available only at select travel retail stores, the Travel Retail Exclusive Giftpack includes JOHNNIE WALKER BLUE LABEL 1l size bottle with both interior and exterior featuring the map contours. It also features copper finishing based on the copper stills used in the whiskey distillation process.
The Limited Edition Travellers' Trunk is designed based on Dunhill's classic vintage car trunk and features JOHNNIE WALKER BLUE LABEL blue coloring, leather straps and handles with Sam Brown stud finish and map counters.
The Trunk houses a limited edition bottle of JOHNNIE WALKER BLUE LABEL, four crystal glasses, a whiskey funnel, a pair of ice tongs and a Dunhill hunter flask.
The company will produce only 500 bespoke pieces of the Limited Edition Travellers' Trunk globally.
Diageo global reserve managing director James Thompson said the company believes that their brands need to focus on two things.
"One is to stay relevant with continual innovation augmenting our heritage; and enhance our credentials with like-minded brand partners, providing heightened brand equity, brand value invigoration and richer collective experiences," Thompson added.
"This year, we strengthen our offering with the JOHNNIE WALKER® BLUE LABEL™ Limited Edition Collection designed by Alfred Dunhill.
"JOHNNIE WALKER® BLUE LABEL™ collaboration with Alfred Dunhill presents the most coveted gifts for toasting extraordinary achievements, perfect for this gifting season."
