GEA Refrigeration Technologies, Durham, N.C., presents the GEA High Velocity Freezer range (HVF) of impingement freezers, designed for freezing hamburger patties and other flat products, as well as for crust-freezing various other food items.Using high-velocity air jets, the freezer breaks the insulating boundary layers around products and quickly reduces the temperature at the outer layer. The unit has a modular configuration, and is available with two conveyor belts with speeds that can be separately adjusted.
