Pancake House, a casual dining restaurant operator in the Philippines, is planning to open 30 new outlets with an investment of PHP150m ($3.47m) across the country.
The proposed move is part of the company's aim to expand its presence in the domestic and international markets including UAE, Kuwait, Brunei, Hawaii and Singapore.
The company's pizza chain, Yellow Cab recently signed a franchise development agreement to launch the brand in the UAE and Singapore.
Its flagship restaurant Pancake House will open in Brunei and Kuwait, and Japanese restaurant, Teriyaki Boy will be opened in Hawaii.
By the end of 2013, Pancake House will have 350 stores, including 20 overseas stores.
Besides Pancake House, Teriyaki Boy and Yellow Cab, the company owns brands including Sizzling Pepper Streak, Maple, Dencio's, Le Couer de France and Kabisera.
Pancake House president Martin Lorenzo said, "We are now working in areas in UAE to grow and open the 15 stores in the next 3 years."
