Les Vignobles Foncalieu, a France-based winery, has added a new wine, Chateau Haut Gleon Blanc 2012, to its portfolio.
Directed for the on-trade markets in Germany, China and the UK, the new wine is a blend of 70% Roussanne, 20% Grenache Blanc and 10% Marsanne.
The blend is aged for six months in new barrels and in stainless steel vats before being bottled at 14% ABV, reported Drinks International.
According to Chateau Haut Gleon Blanc, the wine carries a smell of ripe fruit, quince jelly and dried fruit, supported with hints of honeysuckle and acacia flowers, and vanilla and cinnamon spices.
The wine offers spicy flavors of caramel and orange blossom, with aromatic finish.
