Tesco has unveiled the details of its new 'Love Every Mouthful' marketing campaign, which will air on UK television on Sunday 21 July.
Tesco's new fresh produce-focused campaigncomes just months after its involvement in the horse meat scandal, in which the retailer was revealed to be selling burgers containing traces of equine DNA.
However, it is believed that the 'Love Every Mouthful' proposal was in the pipeline prior to the horse meat revelations.
The campaign, which was created by W + K's London agency, features input from Tesco staff, who were canvassed by the retailer for their favourite recipes.
The TV advert will feature Tesco staff from across the UK discussing their favorite foods and what they grow in their gardens and allotments, as well as appearances from Tecso suppliers.
The 'Love Every Mouthful' campaign will also feature cinema, outdoor, print and digital advertising from Monday 22 July.
Commenting on the new 'Love Every Mouthful' campaign, Tesco UK marketing director David Wood said, “So much care goes into the food we eat, from growing to picking, to choosing, to packing and tasting. We want to share our passion for food.
"The idea behind Love Every Mouthful is simple – a reminder in our busy lives to savour every flavour, every scoop, every crunch, every drizzle, every mealtime conversation. Our approach is playful and we hope people will enjoy it.”
