director at Waitrose Mark Price has been appointed deputy chairman at the John Lewis Partnership.Price, who will continue as Waitrose MD, will take up his additional responsibilities from August. He succeeds David Barclay who joined the John Lewis partnership in 2006 as a non-executive director and will remain with the partnership until 28 February 2014 as chair of the renumeration committee.
