Retail Zoo, a holding company which owns a majority stake in Boost Juice and Boost Juice International, is set to expand Boost Juice presence in Asia-Pacific with the launch of more than 70 stores.
The US private equity firm will expand the convenience food retailer presence in Australia by opening 30-36 stores in the next three years.
Retail Zoo also plans to expand Boost Juice network in Asia with 18 stores in Malaysia in the next 18 months; and 19-24 stores in Singapore.
The juice chain currently has 206 stores in Australia, 22 in Malaysia, six in Singapore and four in India.
Retail Zoo chief executive Scott Meneilly said that there is capacity for up to 36 new sites in Australia.
''We have always believed that the [Boost Juice] business saturation point would sit somewhere around the 200 store mark and we forecast 30 to 36 new sites in the next three years," Meneilly added.
''The phenomenal growth for us is in the Asian region and Malaysia is really starting to take off for us.''
Boost Juice also operates in the UK, South Africa, India, Malaysia and Singapore.
