A bomb threat at a Pilgrim's Pride plant in Lufkin, Texas, forced the evacuation of the entire plant on July 27. No bomb was found.

A police report states the threat was phoned in to a guard shack. The unidentified caller wanted to speak to an employee. When the guard refused to divulge employee information, the caller said the plant needed to be evacuated because a bomb was due to explode within a half hour.
