Tesco reportedly axing senior management level

TescTescoo is to axe a level of senior management at its Cheshunt head office, according to reports. Around 50 members of staff are expected to be cut, with redundancies to be made across all divisions, particularly in the area of marketing.

Staff in consultation on the redundancies are reportedly at levels three, four and five, which is just before board level.

High-level departures at the retailer have been reported to include Tesco's marketing director Ian Crook and Tesco Mobile chief executive Roger Fogg.
