Cold storage facility builder Campanelli Construction has finished a new 175,000 square-foot warehouse for Seafrigo USA Cold Storage in Elizabeth, N.J., the company said in a statement.
The company started the project in August 2012, and finished nine weeks ahead of schedule.
“Campanelli has established a great presence in New Jersey for our expertise in cold storage warehouse and distribution facility construction,” said Jeff DeMarco, partner and president of Campanelli. “We have greatly enjoyed working with Condigel S.A., the parent company of Seafrigo, as well as the developer, Vestal, and look forward to building another facility for them in the near future.”
The new building includes 130,000 square feet of cold storage space for Seafrigo, a French logistics company specializing in international freight forwarding and warehousing of fresh and exported goods.
“We are extremely pleased that the project was not only completed ahead of schedule but also was built with great quality and attention to detail,” said Seafrigo owner Eric Barbe.
