US-based Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar has introduced new Honey Pepper Grill menu items that will be available for a limited period of time.
The new limited time offerings include Honey Pepper Chicken & Shrimp, Honey Pepper Sirloin and 4-Cheese Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders.
Applebee's new Honey Pepper Chicken & Shrimp starts with grilled chicken over fried red potatoes and green beans, topped with fried shrimp tossed in honey pepper sauce, and Honey Pepper Sirloin is a 7oz. sirloin served on a bed of potatoes and topped with fried onions and jalapenos, with the honey pepper sauce.
The 4-Cheese Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders is made with breaded chicken tenders, served atop a mound of our 4-Cheese Mac & Cheese loaded with Applewood smoked bacon, the company said.
Commenting on the launch, Applebee's executive chef Michael Slavin said that the soothing appeal of warm honey with the earthy bite of cracked black pepper creates the perfect blend of flavors.
"Our Honey Pepper Grill menu delivers great texture and smooth craveable sauce that will have you wanting more," added Slavin.
Currently, Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar has approximately 2,000 locations in 49 states, 15 countries and one US territory.
