A new winery, Greenhill Winery and Vineyards, is all set to officially open for business in Middleburg, Virginia on 30 August 2013.

Located at 23595 Winery Lane, off of Highway 50 in Middleburg, the new winery has been formed by Sébastien Marquet and Isabelle Truchon of Burgundy Style Consulting.

The 128 acre winery and vineyard features 11 acres of vines in the Middleburg AVA, a tasting room, a traditional stone manor that will serve as tasting room for Greenhill Wine Club members, reported WineBusiness.com.

Greenhill will initially offer four wines - Philosophy, Vidal Blanc, Syrah and Blanc de Blancs, where Philosophy is a Bordeaux blend and Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine is a blend of 100% Chardonnay. All the four wines are made with 100% Virginia grapes.

Greenhill Winery and Vineyards proprietor David Greenhill said, "Our goal is to produce the finest wines possible, joining the ranks of other Virginia wineries to 'bottle shock' California - and the rest of the world - with our quality and artful passion for winemaking."
