American breakfast-lunch chain Sunny Street Café has inked an agreement with TriLeRiPer to open 40 new outlets in Eastern Canada.

Under the deal, TriLeRiPer will set up outlets in Ontario, Québec, and the Maritime provinces. This latest agreement follows the recent deal signed with TriLeRiPer to open another 40 outlets in Western Canada.

The Western development territories include the four western Canadian provinces and three northern territories.

Sunny Street Café president Scott Moffitt said that as a franchise, it is important to adapt to the needs of today's consumer.

"Our restaurants offer a variety of healthy, locally-sourced food choices and family-friendly menu options. We've also added a bakery display at select locations for on-the-go options," added Moffitt.

Currently, Sunny Street Café operates 14 franchised restaurants in the US. It serves signature dishes such as "big as the plate" pancakes, Stuffed Biscuits and Gravy, Veggie Omelette, Harvest Turkey Wrap, Buffalo Chicken Salad, homemade soups, fresh fruit, salads and muffins.
