Australian juice brand Nudie has launched a new product specifically designed for children and packaged in cartons designed by packaging manufacturer Tetra Pak.
“At Nudie we are always striving to launch innovative products that offer a valuable point of difference and are made from the best Australian ingredients we can find,” said James Ajaka, Nudie CEO. “Australian parents have told us that when it comes to giving their kids fruit juice, ensuring it’s nothing but fruit is top priority,” he said.
“We have listed to parents – Kids Nudie contains nothing but fruit, has no added sugar or preservatives and three of the four flavours are made from 100 per cent Australian fruit,” Mr Ajaka said.
Branded “Nothing but…”, the long-life juice comes in four flavours with each carton containing two serves of fruit.
Tetra Pak said the product and its packaging had been a long time coming to market, but that getting the packaging right was “crucial to the product’s success”.
“It’s fantastic to have an innovative brand like Nudie in Tetra Prisma Aseptic cartons,” said Stacy Anton, Tetra Pak’s Marketing Manager. “It makes a real difference to our ambitions to increase the penetration of Tetra Prisma Aseptic portion packs, as well as launching other advanced carton formats,” she said.
The new Kids Nudie cartons were packed by beverage manufacturer Harvey Fresh in Western Australia. Harvey Fresh also has their own range of milk and juice products in Tetra Prisma Aseptic 250ml cartons, including Moolish flavoured milk in chocolate, strawberry and banana, Harvey Fresh juice in orange, apple and tropical, and Fruit Quenchers in orange, orange and mango, and orange and passionfruit.
