Bert Jan Hardenbol was appointed vice president of the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) business unit of Provisur Technologies Inc.
Hardenbol will have direct responsibility for Provisur's operations in the Netherlands, France, the UK and Germany and will spearhead all Provisur activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
"Bert Jan joins Provisur with a wealth of capital-goods experience that will serve him well as he assumes an important executive role within our company and leads our European organization in further strengthening our growing position in the region," said Mel Cohen, CEO.
Hardenbol previously was managing director and president of Marel Townsend Further Processing Division where he was responsible for implementing a global growth strategy and improved operational efficiencies. Before joining Marel, he was managing director/president of Holmatro Rescue Equipment, managing director of Bosch Tevopharm Packaging Machines and several earlier positions with Robert Bosch Packaging Machines and Philips Electron Optics.
Hardenbol has a Technical MBA in Industrial Engineering & Management Science from the Technical Univ. Eindhoven in the Netherlands. He is fluent in Dutch, English and German.
