Core Tip: EfoodPrint is organising the 1st Seminar on Water Footprint and environmental and productive sustainability within the agrofood sector.
EfoodPrint is organising the 1st Seminar on Water Footprint and environmental and productive sustainability within the agrofood sector; a training activity in which academics, researchers and private companies will be given the opportunity to explain to the sector how the Water Footprint calculations and Life Cycle Analyses can be applied to their activities and what aspects are clear and which are open to debate. It is also intended for auditing companies to explain the steps being taken to come to an agreement about the regulations, as well as for companies within the sector to show the evaluation tools currently available and examples and results showing improvement in the handling of water and its use indicators.

The following institutions will take part in the event:

Consell Català de la Producció Integrada, Departament d’Agricultura i Medi Ambient de Catalunya, Det Norske Veritas, Fundación Botín, Good Stuff International, INTA, IRTA, Lab-Ferrer, Water Footprint Network, WWF Adena Spain, Raimat.
