Denver-based traditional fast-food restaurant chain Quiznos plans to expand its presence in Indonesia, opening more than 1,000 international stores in more than 40 countries by 2020.
As part of the plan, the restaurant chain has signed partnership deal with PT Quiznosindo, the brand's newest franchise partner, to open 100 outlets in Indonesia over the next 10 years.
This partnership in Indonesia is the latest in a series of Quiznos development successes in Asia, including expansion into South Korea, Singapore and the Philippines.
Quiznos has also established a long-term development opportunity in Southeast Asia. The group plans to open 35 stores in Philippines by 2021.
In 2013, it has already opened ten stores, with plans to open three more by the end of the year.
In October, Q Cafe a new limited-service, coffee concept announced last May at the Quiznos Global Summit in Costa Rica, made its debut in Singapore's Changi Airport.
Quiznos also has plans to debut two locations in mixed-use shopping centers before the end of the year.
Presently, Quiznos operates in 50 states and 34 countries. It offers creative, chef-inspired sandwiches, salads, and soups using premium ingredients.
