Groupe Colabor is recalling certain ground beef as it may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) announced.

Products subject to recall include Viandes Lauzon brand Lean Ground Beef and Extra Lean Ground Beef of 2 x 2.5 kg, featuring codes 12/11/13 and UPC 33355.

The CFIA is continuing food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products. It is verifying that industry is removing recalled products from the marketplace and will notify the public through updated food recall warnings.
