Japanese soft drink maker DyDo DRINCO is planning to establish a wholly owned subsidiary DyDo DRINCO RUS in Moscow, Russia.
The establishment of the proposed beverage vending machine business is expected to be completed by the end of January 2014.
DyDo DRINCO RUS will be responsible for business management, marketing, and beverage wholesale, while the operation management of the vending machines will be handed over to Avalon Group.
The beverage vending machines can sell both hot and cold beverages from the same unit, including coffee, juice, and soft-drinks that are packaged in cans and plastic bottles.
DyDo DRINCO overseas operations executive officer Naokazu Hasegawa said that Moscow is Europe's largest city with 11 million people, and it is an attractive market with high levels of both consumption and income.
"Health-conscious needs of the residents have been trending-up in recent years. I am confident that the delicious, healthy Japanese beverages that DyDo DRINCO has developed will be well received by the residents in Moscow," added Hasegawa.
