PLB, a UK-based wine distributor, is geared up to launch a revamped range from New Zealand, following its distribution partnership with three wineries.

The company has partnered with New Zealand-based wine producers, including Babich Wines, Misha's Vineyard and Matahiwi.

PLB is expected to distribute Babich wines in January 2014, and Misha's Vineyard wines in March 2014 to on-trade and quality independent retail sectors in the UK.

Commenting on the partnership, PLB buying manager Neville Harris said that the team at PLB are really looking forward to working with Misha's Vineyard and their extraordinary and expressive range of Pinot Noir and aromatic white wines, which the company believes are some of the best in the region, if not the whole of New Zealand.

Meanwhile, the company will sell Matahiwi wines to high street specialist, online and wine led grocery sectors across the country.

"Wairarapa is a wonderful wine region and has had limited exposure in the UK market, and we're really pleased to be able to offer these sensational, balanced wines from Matahiwi to a wider audience from 2014," added Harris.
