US-based Hangover Joe's has inked a distribution agreement with Media2UCo, for the sale of its products across Japan.
Hangover Joe's produces and sells Hangover Recovery Shot, a beverage that helps in relieving the symptoms associated with alcohol induced hangovers.
As per the agreed terms, Media2UCo will distribute Hangover Recovery Shot to around 8,600 drug and food stores over the next three years across the nation, following which the sales are expected to reach over 10 million bottles.
Commenting on the deal, Hangover Joe's interim CEO Matthew Veal said that this deal has been in the works for a while and the company has now secured it and will start shipping containers to Japan in early 2014.
Hangover Joe's Sales Marketing co-founder and vice president Shawn Adamson said, "This is really a huge deal for the brand and the category.
"Japan, with Tokyo being the largest city in the world with almost double the population of NYC and being a financial center, is really an outstanding opportunity for our company and brand. We believe that this will start the launch into Asia for Hangover Joe's."
